Special
General Meeting to discuss proposed Constitution and Regulations
The proposed Constitution that was distributed to
members prior to the Special General Meeting was discussed at length and
questions answered. A few amendments were moved on the night and some
were accepted by the meeting. The final document as amended and accepted
by the members is available here.
Unfortunately time did not permit discussion of the
proposed Regulations which had been distributed. These will be
considered by the Board at a later date. Members with comments, concerns
or suggestions are asked to put their thoughts on paper and forward
these to the Board for consideration. The proposed Regulations are

The Annual General Meeting saw reports received from
the Board of Management, including the Treasurer's Report. A copy of
these reports are available here.
The election of Board Directors
took place under the new Constitutional arrangements. The following
people were elected:

* Subsequent to the Annual Meeting, the Board has
appointed Jenni Hill as Secretary and Ron Holland as Membership
Director.
The President's of the Men's Section (Jeff Boyle) and Ladies' Section
(Wendy Holland) are ex-officio Board members.
The election of Managers took place under the new
Constitutional arrangements. The following people were elected:

During the meeting Ken Allen expressed the thanks of
members to Lloyd Mawson for his leadership of the Club over the past
five years. Also, Lloyd made a presentation to Bob Smith to acknowledge
the time and effort he put in as the liaison between the Club and
Council during the construction of the undercover Rose Green.
